Ottawa Children's Theatre New

The Ottawa Children’s Theatre is dedicated to theatre that is by, for and about young people. Our mandate comes from a profound desire to enrich the lives of children and youth through theatre and the performing arts. At The Ottawa Children's Theatre, we're process oriented, and we work to create supportive and empathetic environments where participants can explore all aspects of drama and theatre arts. Our artist instructors are theatre professionals with years of experience as actors, directors, writers and teachers. We specialize in many areas of drama, including voice and movement; improvisation; acting techniques; Shakespeare; musical theatre; and collective creation. We place a strong emphasis on language arts, body awareness, creative thinking, and on working together as an ensemble.
