Cancellation policy – Online Programming Pilot Project

MASC Cancellation policy – Online Programming Pilot Project

May to August 2020

MASC is implementing a Pilot Project to assess the viability of an arts online programming platform. There will be no penalty fees related to a canceled activity for any reason during this time. This is to allow more flexibility for venues and artists to adjust to the program and be able to understand and overcome the challenges. When cancellations occur, MASC will make every effort to reschedule the event.

Cancelling an activity before it takes place

MASC asks that the venue or the artist inform MASC as soon as possible if the activity becomes impossible to schedule for any reason. MASC will reschedule the activity at another time that suits best the artist and the venue with no penalty to either party.

Technical difficulties

If the activity is unable to begin due to technical issues (internet connection, audio, video, etc), MASC will reschedule the activity at another time that suits best the artist and the venue, with no penalty to either party.
If technical difficulties arise in the first half of the activity, MASC will reschedule the activity at another time that suits best the artist and the venue with no penalty to either party.
If technical difficulties arise in the second half of the activity, MASC will only reschedule the remaining of the activity at another time that suits best the artist and the venue if both parties wish to do so, with no penalty to either party.
