A fun glimpse into different styles of Animation, with a focus on Canadian content. Who were the first animators? What is the difference between an Animation and a Cartoon? By watching examples, students will explore the magic behind an animated film and will gain a better understanding of how they are made. Maximum 30 students

This open-ended workshop focuses on the creative process. Guided by the artist, participants will explore the richness of possibilities that animation offers: textures, effects, styles. During the workshop, we will lay the groundwork for a project which can be finished at home on a device of choice.
Artist will present concepts and guide students through the process via an online meeting platform.  Maximum 30 students
An online meeting with the artist is required before the project start to establish parameters such as theme, format (phones, iPads, computers) and number of participants.

 60 Seconds (Grades: 2 - 12)   Book Now
This online animation workshop works as a platform to explore current topics such as the environment or gender issues. Participants will develop critical thinking, characters, visual concepts and script, and can then continue on to produce a (max) 60 seconds animation film. Artist will present concepts and guide students through the process - all online!
Maximum: 30 students
