About this program
In this workshop, Zoey Roy, a hip-hop-inspired poet and teaching artist, will help participants craft a poem that is fun to say and that they believe in as writers and speakers. Poetry enables you to detach and develop scenarios with bearable feelings where the writer has control.
This workshop is at least 60 minutes and requires a peaceful environment with calm music and the possibility for people to find their own space to sit. In-class sessions will make it possible for the facilitator to approach students individually. For online sessions, participants can voluntarily share their work for the artist to provide feedback.
