About this program
Participants will make their very own and sized leather bracelets. They will learn various leatherworking techniques such as braiding, proper leather cutting, weaving and fastening. Aurora will explain the leather harvesting and tanning process and the Indigenous principles of interconnectedness, reciprocity, and conservation to protect the deer population. Each participant will be able to leave this workshop with their own bracelet, increase their knowledge of leatherwork techniques and gain a deeper understanding of the connection of Indigenous peoples with animal hunting and conservation.
