About this program
This introductory residency explores the essential steps to develop a public art project considering the civic, social, architectural, and cultural contexts. From planning to engineering, including industry and safety standards, budget development, public communication, and competition, participants will expand their understanding of site-specific 2D or 3D public art installations.
Individual creations will contribute to a cohesive final work and a collective sense of pride!
* As every project is different, a meeting with the artist is required to determine the project’s parameters, material cost, and the number of participants.
**For online programs, packages with beautiful, reflective, feather-weight materials and hanging elements are prepared and delivered to the school.
