Step-dancing rhythmic dance

This energetic and fun workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn a rhythmic and dynamic dance. Under the direction of the artist, participants create a choreography of movements and rhythms by resonating different parts of the body (hands, feet, torso, arms and voice). At the end of the workshop, they will have learned a short step-dancing choreography and have acquired a base to create their own movements and rhythms with their bodies.

Experience vocal music through singing techniques creating and reproducing sounds and rhythmic sequences; gain appreciation for principles of rhythmic loops created by our voice; create personal small group performances of segments; create a choreography of movements and rhythms using body parts; explore the relationship between body percussion and dance.
