About this program
Explore the songs and characters that came to this country from the 1500s to the 1900s. Join Eleanor with body gestures and sing along for a memorable discovery of new comers across 4 centuries. Delve into the stories of heartsick settlers inspired by the lands they knew, as they learnt to live in these fields of rock and snow. Each song will bring you a world of experience as you listen closely to the ordinary people who came to Canada. Lyrics and recordings of the songs are available for use before or after the session. (Maximum 100 students)
