Claudia Salguero

About the Artist

Claudia Salguero is an award-winning multidisciplinary and community-engaged artist who inspires creativity, self-expression, and cultural connection through collaborative art experiences. Since 2014, in partnership with schools, community organizations, and social institutions, she has created more than 100 community murals in Ottawa. Her distinctive panelled murals, that reflects participant’s vision and ideas, can feature original shapes and can be installed on walls and in unconventional architectural spaces. She also integrates digital art and aluminum printing techniques to create innovative and cutting-edge murals. Through her self-expression and teambuilding workshops, students and participants of all ages explore creativity, build confidence, and discover the power of art as a tool for communication, teamwork, and belonging. Drawing from her ongoing studies in art and consciousness, Claudia creates inclusive and engaging environments where participants of all backgrounds and abilities feel valued, inspired, and empowered to express their unique voices.
