About the Artist
Winner of the 2024 Youth Media Alliance Excellence Award and a Prix Gémeaux nominee for hosting the TV series ZIK (TFO), Mehdi Cayenne is a magnetic bilingual singer-songwriter, multidisciplinary artist, and speaker. As the national co-spokesperson for the 2026 Rendez-vous de la Francophonie, he brings over 15 years of educational experience, having inspired more than 23,000 students across Canada. With six acclaimed albums to his name (including a Trille Or Best Album win for Animal Chic), Mehdi fuses music and poetry to tackle essential themes like mental health, resilience, and identity. An electric performer, he transforms every presentation into an unforgettable celebration of culture and community.
