About this program
A workshop where the voice becomes an instrument, revealing the magic of dubbing and singing in perfect harmony with the image!
Through short excerpts from movie themes, cartoons, animated films, and musicals, participants will discover the essential techniques for synchronizing their voice with visuals and soundtracks. They will explore vocal expression, song interpretation, and articulation in both French and English, while developing their sense of rhythm and listening skills. Guided by Cédric, they will embody characters through song and dialogue, learn to harmonize their voices, and play with emotions to create a captivating and immersive performance.

Language (Grades 5–8) & English/French (Grades 9–12) Oral Communication: Develop articulation, pronunciation, and expressiveness in both French and English. Interpret character voices and emotions through spoken and sung text. Strengthen listening and timing skills through synchronized dubbing and singing. Media Arts (Grades 9–12): Combine audio and visual elements in a synchronized performance. Analyze and create expressive vocal performances aligned with film segments. Cross-Curricular Competencies Communication & Collaboration: Sing and perform in groups, harmonizing and responding to peers. Creativity & Expression: Interpret scripts and music creatively while staying synchronized with visual cues. Confidence & Performance: Build self-esteem through performance, vocal projection, and expressive risk-taking.
