About this program

Sky Woman Falls to the Earth is an ancient Haudenosaunee creation story. Using mask, movement and scripted narration, the story brings the audience to a time when there was only a water world and a sky world. From this legend we learn how sky woman created what we now know as Turtle Island.
In each performance Indigenous Experiences will offer a traditional opening and a welcome song, concluding with artist introductions and open discussion about First Nations culture.

Indigenous Experiences are fully booked for in-person programming this season. Virtual options are still available. Contact MASC for details on fall programming.
