SHSM Programs

MASC offers hands-on, arts-based master classes that support the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) in Arts and Culture as well as ICE training (Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship). Led by professional artists who are actively working in their fields—creating, performing, producing, and exhibiting— our programs help students gain real-world, sector-recognized experiences aligned with Ontario Ministry of Education SHSM certification requirements.

Each workshop includes Reach Ahead and Career Exploration components, connecting students’ learning to post-secondary and professional pathways in the arts. Certification workshops are customizable and may be offered as half-day (one certification) or full-day (two certifications) sessions.
