About the Artist

Funson (Sebastien Parent) discovered his passion for performing and communication at a very young age. At just 5 years old, he stepped on stage for the first time and instantly connected with the audience. By the age of 9, he was using his karaoke machine to imitate voices, host pretend shows, and play radio presenter. At 11, he became aware of the special connection he shared with his audience. Even at that young age, he secured several animation gigs — unknowingly taking the first steps toward a career in radio.

In 2012, during a visit to a radio studio, he met Marc Arseno. That encounter became a turning point, inspiring him to follow a similar professional path. With more than 15 years of experience in the public sphere, Sébastien continues to share his passion for voice and broadcasting.

In 2023, he became the founder of Funson. Audio creation had been simmering in his mind for a long time. After more than a decade of developing techniques to support others in their audio projects, he now uses Funson to share his love for radio and podcasting.
