Taking Care of Maman/Prendre Soin de Mom

TAKING CARE OF MAMAN/PRENDRE SOIN DE MOM Originally created for Roseneath’s Digital Dialogues, and now a Roseneath Theatre and Black Theatre Workshop co-production, this powerful piece has evolved into a full-length stage play ready to tour to schools and venues throughout Ontario in English and French.  

Eli’s maman is having her sadness again and she knows the only one who can help is their neighbour Madame Jean. This funny and touching piece explores how two completely different generations develop a supportive and lasting relationship during the hardest time of the pandemic.
