About this program
In this inspiring and energetic two-part workshop, Ojibwe dancer and entrepreneur Amanda Fox guides participants through a journey that connects Indigenous culture, creativity, and business.
The first half of the session focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation. Amanda shares her personal story of transforming her love for pow wow dance and cultural teaching into a successful business that empowers communities and celebrates Indigenous knowledge. Participants will learn how to balance creativity and business, stay true to their values, and build ventures that empower others.
In the second half, participants step into a Pow Wow Workout, a high-energy, follow-along dance session that blends pow wow steps, songs, and teachings with fitness principles. This dynamic activity promotes holistic wellness—strengthening body, mind, and spirit—while deepening appreciation for Indigenous culture and traditions.
